Cancer Care

Box Butte General Hospital�s Oncology Department was developed in 1998 in order to provide area residents the opportunity of receiving their chemotherapy treatments closer to home. The Oncology Department provides administration of chemotherapy treatments, monitoring post chemo blood counts, and acts as an educational resource for community residents.

At Box Butte General Hospital, we believe cancer treatment is a multidisciplinary program, one that involves the patient, his or her family, physicians of various specialties, nursing staff, social workers, pastoral care, home health, dietitians and many others, all cooperating to provide the best care possible.
