Title: Human Resources Director
Report directly to: Chief Executive Officer.
General Summary of Responsibilities: Box Butte General Hospital, a Critical Access Hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, is recruiting a highly qualified senior-level professional to lead the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will embrace our mission and values, exhibit a pattern of personal development and possess the knowledge, skill and ability to manage retention, recruitment and compliance. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for compensation and benefits, employee relations, worker’s compensation and have knowledge of employment law. Must be able to work various shifts, and take call.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field. Other appropriate professional education or equivalent education may be substituted.
Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of five years management experience, three years of which must be in Human Resource management or administration. One year experience delivering worksite training programs. Skilled use of computer and office software programs.
License/Certifications: Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Class “O” Nebraska driver’s license or the equivalent.
Conditional: At a minimum, obtain PHR within 2 years of accepting employment at BBGH.
