Jessica Ott, MD, 2nd Quarter Provider of Choice at BBGH

Jessica Ott, MD, (holding plaque) of Greater Nebraska Medical & Surgical Services (GNMSS) Family Medicine was presented the 2nd Quarter of 2016 Medical Provider of Choice Award from co-workers at BBGH. Present were, l-r: Chief Ancillary Officer Scott Alwin, Nursing Administrative Assistant Tammy Griffee, GNMSS Administrative Assistant Brittany Stull, COO and Interim CEO Lori Mazanec and GNMSS Clinic Nurse Manager Joni Sautter. Those nominating her said she deserved the Award because, “Over the past year Dr. Ott has demonstrated many great attributes. As a team player at GNMSS she never hesitates to lend help covering call, taking extra patients and is now working shifts in the Emergency Department. Not only does she help, but she does so with a positive and cheerful attitude.  Dr. Ott accommodates her patients’ needs by quickly working them into her schedule and has improved access into the clinics. She is eager to learn and finds opportunities to ask her peers questions and learn/master procedures and techniques. She is wonderful at her job and is always willing to explain things when, as a patient, you don’t understand. To top it off, she has a wonderful sense of humor and always has a smile on her face. Dr. Ott is also investing into the community by volunteering on the City of Alliance Board of Health over the past year.” Dr. Ott joined GNMSS Family Medicine in August of 2015.
