Phase I of The Rehab & Wellness Center officially open

Phase I of Box Butte General Hospital’s Rehab & Wellness Center renovation officially opened its doors to the public and staff late Monday afternoon, October 17, with Sherry Hitchcock the first patient to be treated. She’s all smiles at right in the top photo, as is her Physical Therapist Brandon Kiser, PT, DPT. “We’ve waited a long time for this,” he said. “We finally have the room we’ve needed for staff (second photo) and patient privacy.” The next two photos respectively show the physical therapy main room (with private treatment rooms encircling it) and part of the new Fitness Center, which includes men and women locker rooms and showers. The new pediatric therapy room is also open, full of playground equipment, as seen in the bottom photo. Phase II, which will provide more office space and enclose the new Cardiac Rehabilitation area, is scheduled to be completed in January.
