Durable Medical Equipment Roundup Mon., April 16
April is Occupational Therapy Month. To celebrate, the Occupational Therapists at Box Butte General Hospital’s Rehab & Wellness Center are hosting a Durable Medical Equipment Roundup Monday, April 16 from 1:00 – 4:00pm. It will be held at the RSVP Senior Center’s garage located on the west side of the Center, 212 Yellowstone Ave. in Alliance.
“We are asking those who wish to donate their unused durable medical equipment to drive on the west side of RSVP and have your item ready to be dropped off,” said Occupational Therapist TaLisa Brown, OTR/L. “We will take care of the rest and make sure the equipment gets to those who need them.”
Items needed include: walkers, canes, shower chairs, shower benches, adaptive equipment (sock aides, reachers, dressing sticks), wheelchairs, and bedside commodes.
Box Butte General Hospital is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
