Dear Building Blocks Playschool Families,

The staff at Building Blocks Playschool is excited to announce a major accomplishment that has been months in the making! Thanks to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our entire team, we received our Step Up to Quality rating and scored a Step 5! This is the highest possible quality rating for childcare centers in our state!

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional care and education for your children. Our staff has worked to raise the bar in every area of our program, from classroom experiences to family partnerships, and we are so proud to see these efforts recognized.

Building Blocks Playschool’s mission is to provide a safe, loving, fun, and accepting environment for the future leaders of our community. Our vision is to be the greatest place to learn, play, and grow. This rating proves that we are following through on our mission and vision in order to provide the best child care, and we will continue to look for improvements to stay at the top of the list!

The Step Up to Quality program assesses early childhood education centers, supports them in making improvements, and rates the facility and staff based on a list of criteria. Step Up to Quality focuses on five quality standards: program administration, child outcomes, professional development and training, family engagement and partnerships, and learning environments and program curriculum- and we are proud to have far exceeded these standards!
