Biography

Ivy Shelmadine, PT, DPT is a Pediatric Physical Therapist here at Box Butte General Hospital specializing in assisting pediatric rehabilitation, working with children experiencing developmental delays, musculoskeletal injuries, and neurological conditions. She joined the BBGH therapy team in 2022 and brings over 19 years of clinical experience to our facility. She is passionate about empowering children and families with the tools and knowledge to overcome physical challenges and achieve meaningful participation in daily life. She is experienced in developing individualized treatment plans, applying manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re‑education. She is excited to be part of our multidisciplinary physical therapy department focusing on delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered rehabilitation services in the early developing years. In her free time, Ivy loves to spend time with her husband and 4 kids. They are all very active in sports and community activities.
