Biography
Box Butte General Hospital is proud to welcome Occupational Therapist Sara Lutz to the Rehab Team. Sara is from a small farm by rural Selby, South Dakota. Sara is a former athlete who especially loves volleyball. Inspired by her love of sports and her mother’s role as a nurse, she pursued a career in occupational therapy in order to help people. Sara attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. As an Occupational Therapist at BBGH, Sara specializes in hand therapy and helping patients recover from injuries to hands, wrists, and arms. Sara is also certified in Dry Needling. She is able to help patients who have pain related to carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, and more. In her daily life, Sara can be found hiking, spending time with her fiancé and two dogs, and learning all about the Husker Nation. Sara is excited to join the BBGH Rehab Team, and she looks forward to providing excellent care to those in need.
