Biography

Susan Hoff, MSN, APRN-BC, PMHNP, started her journey with Box Butte General Hospital in 2000. Beginning as a Registered Nurse (RN), Susan gained experience in various departments including obstetrics, dialysis, emergency and surgery in rural and urban healthcare settings. Susan chose to pursue further education at Walden University and received her MSN in 2020. Her specialties are in psychiatry, mental health medication management, autism, depression (major depressive disorder), anxiety, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), bipolar 1 and 2, ADHD, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. Susan meets patients where they are knowing medications are a part of the solution, but not the end of treatment. Susan focuses on developing healthy habits with patients that help them live their lives to the fullest. She collaborates with therapists and other providers to make sure there is a continuum of care with patients. Susan participates in ongoing education and training, in order to help her patients and make them as comfortable as possible. Outside of the office, Susan enjoys trying new foods, cooking, traveling, and learning new things.
