Congratulations to our April Employee of the Month, Physical Therapy Assistant Mike Stevens!

Mike's nomination reads:

"“I would like to nominate Michael Stevens for the employee of the month. Mike has devoted his time and energy into making BBGH not only a great place to receive care, but a great place to work for over seven years. Mike always comes into work with an amazing attitude, and regularly goes above and beyond to ensure patients receive optimal care. Mike has recently taken on the inpatient lead role, and has done an amazing job. The amount of effort and expertise that he has provider has not only helped our department shine, but the hospital as a whole. He helps ensure that our inpatients receive excellent therapy, and our department would not be the same without Mike. Many patients have commented to our staff about how much they enjoy working with Mike, and how much his sense of humor meant to them as they went through their struggles. Beyond being a great therapist Mike also is an amazing coworker. He is always willing to do what is needed for the department, and is willing to help out a fellow employee without a second thought. Finally, Mike is also very active in representing our hospital while away from work. Mike is the men’s golf league president and has an active presence in the community. Mike is a great employee who helps contributes to all the things that make BBGH a great place to work and receive care, and I strongly feel that he is deserving of this award.”
